The story follows Sharif Al-Labadi (played by Bassam Kousa), a successful engineer who marries Ghada (Samar Sami). Ghada is the ex-wife of another engineer and talented novelist, Maher Taha (Jamal Soliman). Over time, Sharif develops an intense, destructive obsession with Maher.
