In addition to his public work as a mentalist, he appeared as himself in El hacedor de milagros (1982) by Julio Neri. In his later years he settled in Belo Horizonte, where he founded the cultural and environmental initiative Na Trilha do Sol and collaborated on the music project Na Trilha das Mandalas. He died at the age of 71 following an accidental head injury.
